Rooms at Hill House

Hill House offers four room types: Deluxe Room, The Belvedere Suite, Double Room, and Summertime Suite. The Deluxe Room has a Super King bed, a sofa that converts to a single bed, and an en-suite shower room. The Belvedere Suite features higher ceilings, a large screen TV, and a sofa for a third guest. Double Rooms include Super King or twin beds with views of the front or back of the house. The Summertime Suite, on the lower ground floor, has a private entry, a kitchenette with a microwave and mini-fridge, a separate bedroom with a Super King bed, and an en-suite bathroom. All rooms have smart TVs, tea/coffee makers, free Wi-Fi, and sound-insulated walls.

Breakfast & Dining

Breakfast is served in a room that was once a vintner's shop, featuring homemade jams and marmalade, baked rhubarb, or cinnamon plums. Guests receive restaurant recommendations in advance, focusing on independently-owned eateries in Bath. Fresh milk is provided for tea and coffee in rooms.

Location & Nearby Attractions

Hill House is on Lansdown Road, a 20-minute walk from Bath Spa train station. The Royal Crescent and The Circus are a 5-minute walk away. Other nearby landmarks include the Fashion Museum Bath (0.5 km), No. 1 Royal Crescent (0.5 km), and Thermae Bath Spa. Bristol Airport is 30 km away.

Parking & Transportation

Parking costs £20 per 24 hours. Alternatively, Charlotte Street Carpark (£17.10 for 24 hours) is a 15-minute walk. Free parking is available after 6 PM on Morford Street and Lansdown Road. The Lansdown Park & Ride (Service 31) offers inexpensive bus access to the city center. Taxis can be booked via Veezu (formerly V-Cars).

House Rules & Services

Hill House has a two-night minimum stay on weekends. Smoking is prohibited, with a £200 cleaning fee for violations. The property spans five levels with no elevator, making it unsuitable for strollers. Children must not be left unattended. Check-in uses a code-lock system, with details emailed on arrival day. Bicycles are not permitted inside.
